Calmerry Strengthens Its Therapy Toolbox with Free Mood Tracker and Journaling

Self-reflection is a tried-and-true way to practice self-care. It allows us to look at ourselves from a distance, explore our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions to analyze what we think and feel as objectively as possible.
This way, we can get a better understanding of ourselves and discover why we feel that way or from where our thoughts stem. It also makes us more accepting and empathetic of ourselves. And the biggest value of self-reflection is that we can change how we see ourselves, how we feel about certain situations, and, in the end, how we act.
There are a number of tools that can be used for self-reflection, and one of the most effective ones is keeping a daily journal. It can be as simple as jotting down your notes in a notepad. But while carrying your notebook and pen around is good for your mental health, it’s not the most convenient thing to keep track of your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and behaviors.
Besides, it’s also challenging to remember to write in your journal on a daily basis.
Luckily, now, there are different mood tracker apps and online programs that can help you deal with both of those problems. But although mood tracker apps are a great alternative for busy people, most of them are not free or have limited features. That’s why we decided to change this situation and create a tool that will be free for all Calmerry users.
Meet Coa, a daily reflection helper for all Calmerry users
We have launched a Reflection Bot Coa, a new useful tool for all Calmerry users, to make it easier for them to practice self-care, self-reflect, and track their moods. Our new tool allows you to write everything online using your phone or laptop from your Calmerry account and makes this process more exciting. You can record and access your mood history online and share it with your therapist so they can help you reach your wellness goals.
You can use our Reflection Helper without an active therapy subscription. But it will be more beneficial to work with a therapist who can help you deal with triggers for your bad moods more effectively and gain control over your emotions. Your therapist can help you develop a strategy to keep your mental and emotional health in shape.
Here is how it works:
- Record your daily mood and behavior with just two taps – by choosing how you feel and picking your current activities.
- Write daily journal entries to record your mood notes and your reflections.
- Set daily reminders via text messages, and the reflection bot will notify you to write down how you feel.
- Get accurate charts to see how your mood has been changing over time. That will help you notice patterns and trends in your emotional state.
- Share your mood charts and journal entries with your therapist, who can help you discover triggers for mood swings.
- Get insights into what you need to do to best take care of yourself.
Why use a mood-tracking and journaling tool?
Our Reflection Bot with mood tracker and journaling features can be useful for people with such mental health conditions as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, and for everyone who wants to improve their mental well-being. It will help you monitor your mood changes over time in a simple and effective way.
With daily mood check-ins to record your feelings and emotions, you’ll get a better understanding of how and when mood shifts happen. That may help you identify internal and external triggers that cause mood changes, mood swings, anxiety, and depression.
Armed with this information, you’ll be able to get a better idea of why those triggers resonate so strongly with you – and be prepared to deal with them more effectively. Moreover, mood tracking makes it easier to monitor your progress in therapy and manage triggers between therapy sessions.
When you’re tired, stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, keeping a mood journal will help direct your thoughts and get to the root of the problem. You’ll be able to spot patterns and better understand shifts in mood. Keeping a regular record of your emotions, feelings, and thoughts can help you increase your emotional intelligence, evoke mindfulness, uncover issues, and even heal from difficult experiences.
You will have an opportunity to share your notes and mood check-ins with your therapist. This information will help them gather more data about your symptoms and develop a more effective treatment plan for addressing your mental health issues. They will be able to connect your moods to specific interventions, and that can help them better understand what’s working and what isn’t.
Consistency is key
Reflection Bot is a tool that can help you better understand your emotional states and improve your mental well-being by developing strategies to counteract negative moods. But it’s important to be consistent and make a conscious effort to record your mood at regular intervals.
A simple daily check-in at a specific time may be enough. You should also be honest and record both negative and positive feelings to get an overall look at your mood patterns.
Start tracking your mood in a simple yet effective way and reap the benefits with Calmerry! Make journaling a habit, and that will empower you to manage your moods and make better decisions. And remember that our therapists are here to provide you with emotional support and guidance when you need it.
